Notes:

This year's trip to the Gold Rush marks the fifth consecutive season that the Bulldogs will have played at Long Beach State's annual event.
Fresno State's top finish at Long Beach State's event is second, having done so twice in their first (2015) and second (2016) trips, respectively.
Fresno State finished eighth out of 14 teams at the Gold Rush last season.
Of the Bulldogs in action this week, Brigitte Thibault is the sole returner of this year's group that played in the 2018 edition of the Gold Rush. Thibault owned the Bulldogs' second-best score behind then-senior and now assistant coach Mimi Ho. Overall, Thibault finished tied for 30th (73-77-78=228).
The trio of Thibault, Jessica Hall and Kristin Simonsen have appeared in all five tournaments played so far this season. Those three are each set to be featured in the Gold Rush lineup this week.
Delana Basanisi and Danielle Richman will each make their second appearances in a tournament this season. Basanisi will be in the team lineup while Richman will be competing as an individual.
Fresno State was ranked No. 99 of 265 teams nationally in the most recent Golfstat poll (Feb. 19).
Thibault was ranked No. 189 nationally in the latest Golfstat poll (Feb. 19). She is the only Bulldog ranked inside the Top 250 individual rankings.
Thibault leads the team with a 72.60 scoring average over 15 rounds in four fall tournaments and one spring event. Hall is not far off as she owns a 73.20 average over 15 rounds.
Weather at the Gold Rush on Monday (High 64F, Low 44F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 5-10 winds; Tuesday (High 65F, Low 47F) is forecasted to have a 10 percent chance of rain and 5-10 winds.
