Scouting Wyoming
With three games remaining on Fresno State's schedule, the Bulldogs have secured a bye in the 2019 Mountain West tournament.
During the last five games, Fresno State has deployed senior Candice White and its sophomore quartet in the starting five. Last year, White was joined by Breanne Knishka in the starting lineup for the majority of the season alongside then-freshmen Aly Gamez, Genna Ogier and Maddi Utti.
With a wide-open offense, Fresno State has deployed an array of 3-point shooters this season. The 3-ball has been a key in determining wins and losses for the 'Dogs as they are 15-2 when making more 3's than their opponents while going 0-6 when allowing more.

- Fresno State sits in fourth in the Mountain West standings at 10-4, with all four losses coming to the top three  teams, three of those coming during the previous three weeks. The Bulldogs sit a game out of second.
- The 'Dogs rank No. 5 in the NCAA in free-throw percentage, knocking them down at a clip of 77.8 percent. Fresno State has slipped since the claiming the top spot after shooting below its season average the last three games. Fresno State's top five scorers are each shooting over 80 percent from the line on the year.
- Averaging 71.2 points per game against DI opponents during the nonconference season, the Bulldogs are posting 71.7 per contest in league games after scoring north of 70 points in their last four games after just one in the previous four games.Â
- Fresno State's double-digit scoring trio has remained the same from a year ago: Aly Gamez (11.5 ppg), Maddi Utti (12.1 ppg) and Candice White (18.6 ppg).
- Reaching double figures in scoring in all but two games this season, Candice White leads the MW in scoring by 1.8 points per game. The senior has 12 20-point performances in 25 games, including eight in 14 conference games where she is averaging 20.5 points per game.
- Do-it-all sophomore Maddi Utti ranks second in the league in field-goal percentage (.560), fifth in the league in steals (1.7 spg), sixth in rebounding (7.4 rpg) seventh in blocks (1.0 bpg) and 15th in scoring (12.1 ppg).Â

Scouting Wyoming
- Wyoming enters Wednesday's matchup with an 18-5 record and are riding a nine-game winning streak that has the Cowgirls sitting at 11-3 in league play.
- Wyoming is 12-1 home this season, dropping its only game at AA 78-75 to New Mexico on Jan. 19. Â
- The Cowgirls rank as one the top shooting teams in the country ranking 17th-best in field-goal percentage (46.3) and second in 3-point percentage (41.1).
- Wyoming excels in taking care of the ball, having the fewest turnovers in the country (258) this season, the Cowgirls rank No. 2 in turnovers per game with 11.2. To go with the lack of turnovers, Wyoming's distribution on the offensive end has the team ranked seventh in assist-to-turnover ration at 1.42.
- Taylor Rusk ranks No. 7 in the nation with a 3.55 ratio while Clara Tapia is 32nd at 2.35.
- With an efficient, ball-control offense, the Cowgirls are holding opponents to 56.0 points per game which ranks No. 20 in the NCAA.
- Wyoming is second in the Mountain West and 17th in the NCAA in free throw percentage at 76.2 percent.
- Senior forward Marta Gomez spearheads the Cowgirl offensive attack, averaging 15.7 ppg (3rd in MW) and shooting an NCAA-best and  45.9 percent from beyond the arc.
- Senior forward Bailee Cotton leads Wyoming on the boards, averaging 8.7 rpg, which marks fourth in the Mountain West.
- Fresno State holds the all-time series lead, 19-13.
- The 'Dogs had a series-best six-game win streak from the 2013-14 season to the 2015-16 season.
- The Bulldogs have also won 11 of the last 15 matchups.
- Fresno State is 2-10 all-time in Laramie. The Bulldogs earned their only road wins of the series during the first two seasons under Jaime White who was previously was an assistant coach under Wyoming head coach Joe Legerski prior to her time at Northern Colorado.
