Notes:
- There are nine Mountain West women's golf programs; each are vying for the automatic bid to the 2019 NCAA postseason at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club, Monday thru Wednesday.
- Fresno State enters its seventh MW Championship golf tournament since joining the league. In the Bulldogs' six previous events, they have finished third three times (2016, 2014, 2013), fourth once (2017) and seventh twice (2015, 2018).
- Fresno State has one conference championship in program history (2008 WAC tournament), as a team, in 14 previous trips to a conference championship tournament.
- Fresno State has three individual conference champions in program history (Gudrun Bjorgvinsdottir-2014 (MW), Laura Luethke-2008 (WAC) and Hali Coppin-2010 (WAC)).
- Kristin Simonsen enters the championship owning the most experience in it despite missing the 2018 edition. In 2016 as a freshman she placed T-10th (224) and as a sophomore in 2017 she placed T-18th (226).
- Two of the five Bulldogs in the lineup for the MW Championship participated in the 2018 conference tournament – Brigitte Thibault (T-21st, 222) and Dominika Gradecka (T-42nd, 243).
- No. of years of experience at the Mountain West Championship: Simonsen (2), Gradecka (1), Thibault (1), Hall (0) and Lynch (0).
- The Bulldogs enter the championship ranked No. 95 by Golfstat, which places them as the sixth-highest ranked team entering the event.
- The Bulldogs own a 299.04 team scoring average (+11.04 vs. par) after nine tournaments and 27 rounds this season.
- Thibault enters the event with a team-best 73.00 scoring average. She has played in eight of nine tournaments for Fresno State this season (24 rounds). She missed the Fresno State Classic (April 1-2) due to being one of 72 individuals in the world to be invited to the Augusta Women's National Amateur.
- Thibault owns the team-lead for the most rounds scored in the 60's (4).
- Fresno State will have two true freshman in the lineup this week, Harriet Lynch and Jessica Hall. Last time out, Lynch led the Bulldogs with a fifth-place finish at the Fresno State Classic and Hall owns the team's second-lowest season scoring average (74.52).
- Lynch was named the program's first Mountain West Women's Golfer of the Week since the spring of 2017 on April 3 following the Fresno State Classic.
- Thibault is ranked No. 122 nationally in the latest Golfstat poll (April 9). She is the only Bulldog ranked inside the nations' top 250 individual rankings by Golfstat.
- Weather at the championship on Monday (High 85F, Low 58F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 10-20 mph winds; Tuesday (High 83F, Low 60F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 10-20 winds; Wednesday (High 90F, Low 64F) is forecasted to have a zero percent chance of rain and 10-15 winds.
