The Fresno State men's basketball team will host two summer camps for boys and girls in the coming months.
FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's basketball program is hosting two four-day youth basketball camps over the summer on the Fresno State campus, including one camp session in June and one camp session later in the summer.
Â
2019 Fresno State Basketball Day Camp
Session 1 (June 10-13) and Session 2 (July 29-Aug. 1) are both four-day camps open to boys and girls (ages 6-17, except for Session 2, which is for 6-year-olds to those entering sixth grade, per NCAA regulations) for $200 per camper.
Â
Each four-day camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the first three days of the camp and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the final day. Campers may be dropped off as early as 8:45 a.m. each day of the camp. Pizza, water, Gatorade, candy bars and chips will be available for purchase or campers have the option to bring a sack lunch.
Â
Each camper will receive a t-shirt for their participation and have the opportunity to learn from the instruction of Fresno State men's basketball program, including 2018-19 Joe B. Hall National Coach of the Year Justin Hutson, to learn, improve and refine the fundamental skills of shooting, ball handling, passing and defense in a fun and exciting environment.
Â
There will be competitions and league games within age groups and the camp will also feature an autograph session with coaches and players.
