10 games to be on national TV

The Bulldogs will be getting more national exposure during the 2020-21 campaign.
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Fresno State men's basketball team will play on national television at least 10 times during Mountain West play, the conference office announced on Tuesday.
Â
Fresno State will be featured on CBS Sports Network six times and FS1 four times, with the remaining 10 MW games expected to be broadcast on the Mountain West Network with the potential for additional broadcast distribution opportunities. All games are also broadcast on 940 AM ESPN Radio.
Â
The Bulldogs are planning to play a 20-game conference schedule under a modified format within the context of state, county and local guidelines. The development of the updated 2020-21 MW basketball format emphasized the health and safety of student-athletes, coaches and staff while significantly reducing travel.
Â
MW teams will face each other in a two-game series in the same week with a one-day break between contests with Fresno State playing home series against Wyoming, San Jose State, New Mexico, Utah State and San Diego State, while traveling to play at Colorado State, Nevada, Boise State, Air Force and UNLV this season.
Â
The format adjustments create flexibility throughout the season to potentially reschedule games which may need to be postponed as the schedule plays out. This is a one-year model adopted specifically to address the unique challenges of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Â
After resuming team activities on Monday, Fresno State's next scheduled game is when the Bulldogs host the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT at the Save Mart Center. That nonconference contest is set to be broadcast on the Mountain West Network and 940 AM ESPN Radio.
Â
Note: Due to current state guidelines, fans are not able to attend home games at the Save Mart Center during the 2020-21 season. Additional announcements on television selections and start times will be released in conjunction with the MW when available.  All in-person activities are subject to approval from state, county and local officials. Games and times are subject to change.
