Seven Bulldogs garner 14 All-MW Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Five Fresno State swimmers and two divers earned Mountain West Swimming and Diving All-Conference honors based on their performances at the 2020 MW Championship in Minneapolis last week.

All-MW honors were awarded to the top eight finishers in the individual events and top three relay team finishers. The seven Bulldog honorees led the team to a sixth place finish.
Freshman Athena Clayson, the 2020 MW Champion in the 100 Back and 200 Back, was atop the list in both events. Clayson was also named the MW Freshman of the Meet.
Darina Khisiamova, the 1650 Free Champion, also earned recognition for her Silver medal finish in the 400 IM. Kimberly Harbert earned honors after her Gold medal finish in the 100 Butterfly.
Manuela Mendolicchio earned All-Conference honors in a team-high three events. Mendolcchio, the Bronze medalist in the 200 Breast, also received honors in the 200 IM and the 400 IM. Mendolicchio won the 200 Breast Bronze medal for the second consecutive year. Lucy Davies earned honors in the 400 IM and the 200 Breast.
Irinia Nikolaeva broke program records in both the 1 Meter and 3 Meter, earning accolades on both boards for the Bulldogs. Nikolaeva has collected honors on the 1 Meter for three consecutive seasons. Yuliya Tykha tabbed honors on the 3 Meter and the Platform.
