Fresno State's Orlando Robinson recorded 17 points with a career-high 18 rebounds in Friday's 84-60 win over LIU.

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's basketball team earned its second win of the season with a 84-60 victory over the LIU Sharks on Friday night in the Save Mart Center.Â
For the second game in a row, Fresno State (2-0) had four Bulldogs score in double figures in Orlando Robinson (17 points), Isaiah Hill (15 points), Jordan Campbell (15 points), and Destin Whitaker (10 points) in 24-point win. This was also the second consecutive game where the 'Dogs never trailed their opponent.Â
Robinson also recorded a career-high 18Â rebounds, with seven offensive and 11Â defensive boards while posting his 17th career double-double.
How It Happened:Â
Fresno State and LIU exchanged buckets to open the contest before the Bulldogs' offense fired on all cylinders and raced out on a 23-3 run, capped off by a fast-break layup from Jordan Campbell. Fresno State owned a 26-6 lead halfway through the first half and never looked back.
Back-to-back layups from Robinson and back-to-back buckets off of turnovers from Hill and Campbell put Fresno State up by 21 early in the second half, and the Bulldogs led by as many as 24.
In the contest, Fresno State shot 47.5 percent from the field, while limiting LIU to 35.4 percent from the floor.
