Quotes:
Jaime White, Fresno State head coach
About playing in front of the Red Wave…
"That was really exciting, and something we've been looking forward to and hoped that would happen. It was great to see a lot of familiar faces and to hear the crowd. I think there was a little bit of nervousness in energy knowing that people were going to be here to watch the game. I thought our kids started the game out well. I thought it was fun and a good first game for us. It was a good first game to kind of get our feet wet and get comfortable again."
Â
Maria Guimaraes, Fresno State senior center
"It was really fun to play in front of fans. Our team has a good connection. If one of us scores, we are all going to be there happy and cheering for each other."
Â
Hanna Cavinder, Fresno State junior guard
On helping out on the glass…
"Just doing whatever my teammates need me to do. I'm not really worried about rebounding more or this and that. Just letting the game come to me and helping our team win."
