Justin Hutson, Fresno State head coach
About creating separation during the game…
"Defense. We started in front of the ball, took away the backdoor cuts, the drive and kicks. Limited them to one shot, and got out and played the game easy, moved the ball on the front end. I don't think we shot the ball extremely well early. We had some good looks, but shooting comes and goes. We got some really good shooters sitting on the bench, but we got some capable shooters also. I think it was our defense and sticking with it. Eventually we were going to get a run."
Leo Colimerio, Fresno State sophomore guard/forward
About his rebounding performance tonight...
"I feel like sometimes I try to read it, from where the shots are coming from. Which way they are going when it hits the rim. I try to read that. I feel like today, and most of the time, it's the right time. Most of the time I just look to see where the ball is going. It felt good, I was just ready to play."
Anthony Holland, Fresno State junior guard
On the team's offseason…
"We had a team coming back for the first time. We actually had some chemistry and we've been working really hard this game. Just being connected on offense and defense. We work everyday. We focus on getting the right shot. Sometimes there's good shots and sometimes there's great shots. So, we always focus on getting the best shot available."
