Fresno State finishes day one of the MW Championship in fifth place

LAS VEGAS – Fresno State wrapped up the first day of the 2021 Mountain West Championship in fifth place with 100 points and two fifth place finishes.
"Today was a good start to the championship for us," said head coach Jeanne Fleck. "We put ourselves in a good position. We can't wait to continue to compete and move up in the rankings this week."

- In the 200 Medley Relay, Fresno State (Clayson, Wasserman, Cutler, Melia) finished fifth with a time of 1:42.37.
- In the 800 Freestyle Relay, Fresno State (Clayson, Melia, Khisamova, Cutler) finished in fifth place with a time of 7:20.30.
