Eight Bulldogs collect All-MW Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Six Fresno State swimmers and two divers earned Mountain West Swimming and Diving All-Conference honors based on their performances at the 2021 MW Championship over the weekend.
In total, 67 student-athletes earned individual All-Conference honors, in addition to 15 relay teams. The eight Bulldog honorees led the team to a sixth place finish.
Sophomore Athena Clayson, the 2021 MW Champion in the 100 Back and 200 Back, was atop the list in both events. Clayson won Gold in both events for the second consecutive year. Emily Cutler (200 Back), Darina Khisiamova (400 IM), Eydis Osk Kolbeinsdottir (1650 Free), Mackenzie Hutler (100 Fly, 100 Fly) and Samarah Melia (500 Free) also tabbed
Junior Yuliya Tykha earned recognition on the Platform after her Bronze medal finish. Tykha also collected honors on the 1-Meter and 3-Meter. Freshman Silvia Alessio netted honors in both the 1-Meter and the 3-Meter.
