LOGAN, Utah – Two days after dropping 90 points against Utah State, the Bulldogs went three better on Saturday, defeating the Aggies 93-85 at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum to earn their third series sweep in their last four. With the 93-point effort, the 'Dogs became the first team in program history to hit the 90-point mark in three straight games.
Fresno State's big four of Haley Cavinder, Hanna Cavinder, Aly Gamez and Maddi Utti each landed in double figures, marking the 14th time during the last two seasons in which that has occurred (13-1). Haley and Hanna totaled a team-high 21 points each while Utti finished with 16 and Gamez at 11. The four also combined to dish out 22 of the team's 26 assists.
Utah State's Jessica Chatman finished with a game-high 26 points.

How It Happened
Fresno State bolted out of the gates scoring on its first 10 possessions of the game which saw six different Bulldogs find the score sheet. The scoring stretch lasted just over five minutes as the 'Dogs took their largest lead of the half at 22-10. Utah State answered back with seven straight points before Bree Delaney ended a two-minute drought with a triple. The 'Dogs built their lead back to 11 but a 12-2 run by the Aggies pulled the home side back within one with 7:22 on the clock in the second quarter.
With the game knotted up at 39-all with 4:29 remaining in the half, the Cavinder twins combined to score nine unanswered, with the first seven coming from Hanna, in under two minutes. The Bulldogs led by seven at the half, 53-46.
The Aggies quickly cut their deficit to four in the opening 30 seconds of the third quarter with a 3-pointer from Shyla Latone. Utah State never got its deficit back into single digits in the quarter as the 'Dogs extended their advantage to as much as 20 with 2:31 on the clock. Fresno State held onto a comfortable double-digit lead until the final minutes of the game when Utah State's Kinley Falslev knocked down four 3-pointers, but it was too little too late as the 'Dogs closed out the game with an eight-point win.
