- Fresno State last participated in the K-State-hosted event in the 2015 season, finishing seventh (299-287-285=871) in the 20-team field that season.
- Fresno State was ranked No. 58 in the latest GolfStat team rankings.
- The Bulldogs go up against four top-30 teams in this tournament, including two in the top 10 in No. 8 Baylor and No. 9 Oklahoma State.
