FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State lacrosse team earned its fourth Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week as freshman attacker Logann Eldredge picked up her third career honor from the conference. Eldredge scored three goals on seven shots at then-No. 20 USC on Sunday. Five of her seven shots were on goal. She also added one draw control.
Â
The freshman leads the team in goals (16) and points (22) so far this season. She has scored in all but one game on the year and has recorded four hat tricks. She has a team-high shooting percentage with a .471 through seven games on the year.
Â
Eldredge is the first three-peat winner of a MPSF weekly award this season. The Bulldogs have won four of the six MPSF Rookie of the Week awards this season as Eldredge earned three and defender Devon Ortman has picked up one. The Herriman, Utah native is the first Bulldog to earn three MPSF Rookie of the Week honors in a single season since now-junior attacker Sydney Skalstad was tabbed the Rookie of the Week five times as a freshman in 2019.
Â
Eldredge and the Bulldogs are back in action on Sunday as they travel to face Cal for the second time this season. Last time the teams met (Mar. 5), the Golden Bears came out with a 14-12 victory in an intense back-and-forth game between the teams in Fresno.
