Eldredge earns MPSF Rookie of the Week honors

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State lacrosse freshman attacker Logann Eldredge earned the second Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week honor of her career on Monday.
Eldredge scored a hat trick in Fresno State's home opener with Cal on Friday. She scored her three goals on a season-high seven shots, five on goal. The freshman had a season-high three free position attempts against the Bears. She also added an assist for four points on the night. Eldredge had one ground ball and one draw control to round out her stat line.Â
The Herriman, Utah native is second on the team with 11 goals on the year, but is tied for a team-leading 16 points with five assists. Her 11 goals scored have been on 22 shots, giving her the best shooting percentage (.500) on the team through five games.Â
The young Bulldog earned her second Rookie of the Week honor after picking up her first on Feb. 22 after a four-goal performance at Kent State. Fresno State has earned three of the four Rookie of the Week honors from the conference this season. Devon Ortman was tabbed the league's Rookie recipient last week.Â
The Bulldogs return to action for MPSF play this Saturday, hosting UC Davis at Bulldog Stadium for a 2 p.m. PT opening draw.Â
