FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State freshman attacker Logann Eldredge has earned her third-straight Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Rookie of the Week honor, and fifth of the season, the conference announced on Monday.
Â
Eldredge scored one goal against the No. 16-ranked Stanford last week. She kept her scoring streak alive after scoring at least once in all but one game on the year, including five-straight games to date. Also against the Cardinal, Eldredge dished two assists to earn three points in the contest. Eldredge's offensive efforts were shown on five total shots, four on goal.
Â
The freshman attacker is the team's current leader in points this season. She has 26 points (18 goals, 8 assists) on the year. Eldredge has won five of the eight possible MPSF Rookie of the Week honors this season. Fellow classmate Devon Ortman has earned one of the three not received by Eldredge.
Â
Eldredge's honor this week ties for the program record for most MPSF Rookie of the Week honors in a single season. She is tied with now-junior Bulldog Sydney Skalstad who earned the honor five times in her freshman season (2019). Eldredge is the first Bulldog to earn three-straight MPSF weekly honors, of any kind, in program history.
