2022 ITA Women's All-American Championships (Draws)San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic (Tournament Central)
Three more Bulldogs made their fall debuts and two rising national competitors made a statement in the ITA All-American Championships
SAN DIEGO – Fresno State's Carlotta Nonnis Marzano, Gianna Mastro and Leann Serna made their fall debuts at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic at the University of San Diego Tennis Center this past weekend.
Nonnis Marzano and Serna each secured their first victories of the fall campaign – each winning in singles during the three-day event, which also featured competitors from Arizona, Fresno State, Navy and San Diego in the women's field.
The mission of the tournament was to celebrate San Diego's military heritage and support veterans organizations and community partners through annual tennis competitions with elite athletes.
CARY, N.C. – After stunning top-seeded Oklahoma in the opening round of the 2022 ITA All-American Championships, Fresno State's Pang Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini pushed Arizona State's Patricija and Domenika Turkovic to the brink before falling in a tiebreaker in the Round of 16.
Jittakoat and Magrini won the second set to force the tiebreaker.
The impressive efforts on the national stage raise the profile of the Bulldogs' dynamic doubles duo, who are putting themselves in position for preseason national rankings consideration.

"First of all, we want to thank the ITA and USD, and all the sponsors and organizers who hosted the All-American Tournament and the San Diego Veterans Classic. We had a lot of great matches and different experiences. We're excited to get back to competing this fall and will bring our experiences to the next fall tournament, which is this weekend at Stanford for the ITA Regionals. Go 'Dogs!"
