Jittakoat makes run to ITA NW Quarters

STANFORD, Calif. – Fresno State's Pang Jittakoat reached the singles quarterfinals of the 2022 ITA Northwest Regionals at Stanford's Taube Tennis Center this past weekend.

Jittakoat, who won four singles matches, including wins over players from Eastern Washington, Gonzaga, Oregon and Washington State, before competing against top-seeded Connie Ma of Stanford in a tightly-contested quarterfinal battle. Ma edged Jittakoat (7-5, 6-4) in the fall showdown.

Carlotta Nonnis Marzano and Mariia Vyshkina also won their Round of 128 matches in the main draw of the elite field.

In doubles, Jittakoat and Matilde Magrini defeated a duo from Santa Clara to reach the Round of 32.
