Bulldogs accept postseason invite

This will be Fresno State’s 25th all-time postseason appearance and debut in The Basketball Classic.
FRESNO, Calif. -- The Fresno State men's basketball team has received and accepted an invitation to play in The Basketball Classic, presented by ERACISM.

The Bulldogs' opening round game will be against Eastern Washington this Thursday, March 17 at 7 p.m. PT at the Save Mart Center. Ticket information will be shared when available.

The Basketball Classic, founded by College Insiders, is a 32-team, single-elimination postseason tournament. First-round play will begin this week and the semifinals will take place on March 29, with the championship game scheduled for March 31.  Tournament play will be held at campus sites.

All games throughout the tournament will be available for streaming on ESPN+ (online) and also broadcast on the Bulldog Sports Network (radio).

Fresno State, who went 19-13 with Top 100 NET wins over Santa Clara, Utah State and UNLV this season, features a rising group of stars, including first-team All-Mountain West honoree Orlando Robinson (19.7 PPG & 8.2 RPG) and All-MW honorable mention selection Anthony Holland (9.3 PPG), along with point guard Isaiah Hill (10.2 PPG), who also averaged double digits in scoringÂ
