Robinson named NABC All-District

Fresno State’s Orlando Robinson is now one of three Bulldogs to earn NABC All-District honors twice.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Fresno State junior Orlando Robinson earned 2022 NABC Division I First Team All-District honors, as voted on by NABC-member coaches.
Robinson is the third Bulldog to earn NABC All-District honors twice – joining Marvelle Harris (2015 & 2016) and Deshon Taylor (2018 & 2019).
Robinson helped lead the Bulldogs to their seventh top six MW finish in the last eight seasons and a MW Quarterfinal appearance for the ninth time in Fresno State's first 10 seasons in the conference.
Robinson, who was also named to the 2021-22 All-MW First Team (Coaches & Media) & Defensive Team (Coaches), is the fifth-highest rated player national in the 2022 kenpom.com Player of the Year Standings.
Robinson enters postseason play having averaged 26.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.2 blocks per game while converting 51.9 percent of his field goal attempts in 39.8 minutes per game over the course of his last six games.
Earlier this season, Robinson earned national recognition on two midseason National Player of the Year Watch Lists and 2021 Venue Twin SoCal Challenge Surf Division Most Valuable Player honors.
Fresno State opens The Basketball Classic on Thursday at 7 p.m. PT when the 'Dogs face Eastern Washington at the Save Mart Center. Tickets start at $5 at the Save Mart Center Box Office.Â
