Zone E Championships wrap up

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Action concluded at the NCAA Zone E Championships on Wednesday with Fresno State senior diver Yuliya Tykha finishing 16th on the platform.

Hosted at Northern Arizona University, the three-day meet featured Tykha and junior Silvia Alessio competing for the Bulldogs.

Diving got started on Monday with the 1-Meter as Tykha placing 37th with a score of 234.50 and Alessio checked in 43rd at 221.35 in a group of 57 divers.

In a group of 49 divers on Tuesday, the pair improved their standing on the 3-Meter with Alessio taking 21st (264.40) and Tykha advancing to the finals where she took 18th with a mark of 544.75.

Finally, the meet concluded on Wednesday with Tykha advancing to the platform finals coming in 16th with a score of 448.75.

Tuesday: 3-Meter

Tykha - 18th, 544.75 (Advanced to finals)
Alessio - 21st, 264.40
