'Dogs release 2022 schedule

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State Volleyball announced its 2022 schedule on Wednesday that features 30 matches with 12 home contests at the Save Mart Center.

The Bulldogs, coming off a seventh-place finish in the Mountain West last season, will get the season started in Charleston, South Carolina taking on host Charleston Southern along with Rutgers and The Citadel on August 26-27. The 'Dogs then return home for their home tournament taking on Louisiana Tech, Seattle and San Francisco on Sept. 2-3.

The non-conference slate continues Sept. 9-11 at Santa Clara facing the Broncos, Tulane and Oklahoma before wrapping up out-of-conference action against Sacramento State, Pacific and CSU Bakersfield in Bakersfield.

Mountain West action starts at home on Sept. 22 against Nevada with other home MW matches featuring San Jose State (Sept. 24), San Diego State (Sept. 27), Colorado State (Oct. 13), Wyoming (Oct. 15), New Mexico (Oct. 22), Utah State (Nov. 3), Boise State (Nov. 5) and UNLV (Nov. 12).

Road MW action will get underway on Sept. 29 at UNLV and will also take the 'Dogs to Boise State (Oct. 6), Utah State (Oct. 8), Air Force (Oct. 20), Wyoming (Oct. 27), Colorado State (Oct. 29), San Diego State (Nov. 7), San Jose State (Nov. 17) and Nevada (Nov. 19).

The Mountain West Tournament will take place on Nov. 23-25. The 'Dogs bring back nine returners from 2021, including a pair of seniors in Lauren Sabbatini and Molly Eppright.
