13 'Dogs named GCC All-Academic

ALISO VIEJO, Calif. – The Fresno State water polo team had program-record 13 student-athletes named to the 2022 Golden Coast Conference All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday.
Emily Diacono, Savannah Fitzgerald, Elisa Grim, Daphne Guevremont, Sienna Jagielski, Fanni Muzsnay, Emily Nicholson, Paula Nieto Jasny, Brooke Ochoa, Yesenia Preciado, Jillian Schultz, Ella Simone and Shelby Vidmar represented the Bulldogs.
The team consists of members who carried a 3.0 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale), played in at least 50 percent of the team's contests in the 2022Â campaign and were classified as a full-time student at their institution.
Nicholson earned her fifth career GCC All-Academic team honors, while Diacono and Jagielski captured their fourth-ever conference academic accolades.Â
Guevremont earned her third career GCC accolade while it was the first GCC academic honor for the other nine Bulldogs.
