Cross country season underway with Seawolf Invite

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State cross country teams opened the 2022 season on Saturday morning at Woodward Park with the Bulldogs placing second in the women's 5K and third in the men's 4-mile at the Seawolf Invite.
Sophomore transfer Corie Smith earned the top finish of the meet for the 'Dogs, placing fifth in the women's 5K with a time 19:12.79. Fellow sophomore Shaylee Grimm also earned a Top 10 finish, crossing the line in ninth at 19:39.72
On the men's side, Mohamed Saleh earned the top finish for the Bulldogs, coming in at seventh in the 4-mile with a time of 21:09.7. Sam Hawley was just inside the Top 15, finishing 14th at 21:42.10
