Bulldogs finish the Fresno State Invitational in fourth place

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State wrapped up the Fresno State invitational in 4th place with 535 points on Saturday afternoon at the Fresno State Aquatics Center.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Fresno State opened with its strongest event of the day, the 1650 freestyle, which included all three Bulldogs placing in the top 10. Madison Caserio out-touched San Diego State to take 2nd place with a 17:39.70
Fresno State secured 12 more top 10 finishes through the last nine events of the meet.
Diver Grace Ally places 8th in the one meter springboard. Head coach Taryn Patrick, says,"Diving went well today…it's still really early and finding areas that we might need to put a little more work into. But the energy is there to work."
'Dogs closed the meet with an electric 400 free relay. The A relay swam a strong back half to advance past San Diego State for another third place relay finish in this invitational.
Head Coach Jeanne Fleck, says, "First meet of the year we saw something to make improvements on, but their spirit and effort level, I couldn't have asked for better. '' on how the season looks moving forward.
