Andress earns GCC Player of the Week honors

LOS ANGELES - Fresno State water polo freshman Hailey Andress was named the Golden Coast Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced on Thursday.
The Glendora, Calif. native led the team with 12 goals in four games against four top-25 opponents last week.
She tallied two goals apiece in wins over No. 21 San Diego State and No. 18 UC San Diego, and in a setback to No. 5 Hawaii.
She scored six of the 'Dogs seven goals against No. 7 Long Beach State in the fifth-place match of the Triton Invite. Andress ranks second on the team with 20 goals on the season.
The Bulldogs return to the pool on Feb. 18-19 hosting Biola, Fresno Pacific & Claremont Mudd-Scripps in the Fresno State Invite.
