Sutherland moves into Top 20 after 36 holes at The Goodwin

SAN FRANCISCO – Carding a 2-under par 68 on Friday, Fresno State's Matthew Sutherland moved up into the Top 20 on Friday at The Goodwin at TPC Harding Park. The junior sits in a tie for 16th.
With four birdies on the day, Sutherland moved to 1-under for the tournament.
Teammate Matthew Manganello shot even-par for the round. Shooting 2-over on the back nine, the junior knocked in a pair of birdies in his last five holes on the front to finish strong on Day 2.
The Bulldogs finished Round 2 at 10-over par. Fresno State is tied for 19th overall at 19-over par.
The 'Dogs tee off Round 3 at 7 a.m. PT on Saturday.
