Fresno State wraps up Leadership and Golf Invitational

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. – The Fresno State women's golf team finished the Leadership and Golf Invitational carding a 32-over 896. The Bulldogs finished 10th in the 18-team field.
Freshman Sophia Yi-Ju Chen led Fresno State through the third round with an even par 72. Chen's score was the lowest total by a Bulldog during the tournament. Through three rounds, she posted a team-best total 4-over 220 to tie for 27th in the 108-woman field. Her 36-hole score was two strokes better than she opened her collegiate career with last week.
Junior Jinyu Wu was second on the team totaling eight-over 224.
