BULLDOG BONES
- The 'Dogs are coming off a  dual win against Pepperdine, 1
- Fresno State will face their fourth opponent in the last eleven days and their third opponent at home in the last eight daysÂ
- Fresno State is currently on a winning streak defeating their last two opponents at home this past weekÂ
- Bulldogs are 5-0 in dual meets this season, seeing wins over Fresno Pacific, Pacific, Nevada, Pepperdine and CSU BakersfieldÂ
- Fresno State hosts UC Davis for Senior Day on Saturday at the Aquatics Center.
- The 'Dogs will honor their four seniors, Anna  Chope, Cayli McEvoy, Eleonora Trentin and Jaden Fagundes prior to the meet.
- Fresno State has one final dual meet at San Jose State on Feb. 3 before Mountain West Championships in Mar. 21-24
- The Bulldogs are coming off a 173-122 win over CSU Bakersfield at the Aquatics Center.Â
- Moving in stride the Bulldogs claimed six straight events starting with Julia Matney in the 100 backstroke (57.73), Aliz Kalmar in the 100 breaststroke (1:02.66), Sera Hanagan 200 butterfly (2:04.10), Mackenzie Hutler in the 100 butterfly (23.70) and Wiktoria Dabrowska in the 100 freestyle (52.47) and closed out by Korrie Tengan in the 200 backstroke (2:08.23.)
- In the diving well Grace Ally and Jaden Fagundes claimed 1-2 in both the 1 meter and 3 meter springboard against the Roadrunners. Ally with a final score of 270.83 points in the 1 meter followed by Fagundes with a final score of 261.98. Ally earned 270.38 points in the 3-meter and Fagundes with 240.83 points. Freshman Averee Esteep finished both springboard events in fifth place.Â
- Fresno State won four events against the Aggies with Samarah Melia (1000 Free), Athena Clayson, (100 Back), Mackenzie Hutler (200 Fly) and Julia Matney (100 Fly) finishing first in their respective events.
- Fresno State won 11 out of 16 events
- In addition, the 'Dogs collected four runner-up finishes in four individual events
- Anna Chope - Four-year Bulldog from San Jose, Calif., Chope Recorded three personal bests at Mountain West Championships - 50 Free (24.20), 100 Free (53.04) and 200 Free (1:56.02)...also represented Bulldogs at Conference in the 200 and 400 Free Relays…named Academic All-Mountain West
- Eleonora Trentin - Two-year Bulldog from Firenze, Italy. Trentin was a three-time finalist at Mountain West Championships in 50 Free (23.29), 100 Free (51.01) and 100 Back (56.63)…Part of school-record relay teams in 200 Free Relay (1:31.47) and 400 Free Relay (3:20.59), which were both good for 2nd in the MW…named Academic All-Mountain West
- Caylynn McEvoy- Three-year Bulldog from Colville, Wash., McEvoy recorded personal best at Mountain West Championships in the 50 Free (24.06) and season best 200 Free (1:54.77)...also represented Bulldogs at Conference in the 200 and 400 Medley Relays, 400 Free Relay and 100 Free (52.40) …named Academic All-Mountain West
- Jaden Fagundes- Four-year Bulldog from Clovis, Calif., Fagundes Dove 1M, 3M and 10M at Mountain West Championships…Placed 4th in both 1M and 3M against San Jose State…Named Academic All-Mountain West
- UC Davis is 6-1, 2-1 MPSF this seasonÂ
- The Aggies have one more dual meet this season before they head to conference championships against University of PacificÂ
- UC Davis has two swimmers that were tabbed as MPSF Swimmer of the Week; Naomi Baeghelm (Jan. 17) and Sophi McKay (Oct. 25)Â
- Aggies saw their first loss of the season against UC Santa Barbara
- UC Davis comes to Fresno this Friday on a four meet win streak Â
