FRESNO, Calif. — Coming off its second home win of the season, Fresno State heads right back out on the road, beginning a week-long trip at Long Beach State on Saturday afternoon.

QUICK LOOK
DOUBLE-DOUBLE TRIO
Through three games, Fresno State hadn't had a player record a double-double. That changed when the team saw three in Game 4 against Prairie View A&M. Fresno State's bigs Mor Seck (18 points, 12 rebounds) and Elijah Price (16 points, 13 rebounds) controlled the interior to get their firsts of the season. Mykell Robinson posted the first of his career with 15 points and 10 rebounds, while narrowly missing a triple-double with eight assists as he split point guard duties.
CRASHING ON OFFENSE
Ranking fourth in the Mountain West in offensive rebounds, top two interior players are pacing the conference in O-boards. Three games back from a lengthy rehab, 7-foot-1 center Mor Seck is grabbing a league-best 3.67 per game, 32nd in the NCAA. 6-foot-9 forward Elijah Price is second in the MW at 3.50 per game.Â
PRICE IS RIGHT
After redshirting the 2023-24 season at Drake, Elijah Price made the decision to return back to his home state and join Fresno State, and it's quickly paying off for both sides. A Swiss-army knife type of player, the 6-foot-9 Price has grown each game, earning starts in all four.Â

QUICK LOOK
- The Bulldogs are 19-19 all-time on the road in the series, picking up wins on their last three trips.
- The trip will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday at the Acrisure Holiday Invitational held at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, Calif.
- The Bulldogs are 2-2 on the year with both of its wins coming in the friendly confines of the Save Mart Center.
- The Bulldogs will play seven of their first 10 games away from the Save Mart Center during the first 36 days of the season.
- In Fresno State's 94-83 win over Prairie View A&M, three Bulldogs posted double-doubles (Elijah Price, Mykell Robinson and Mor Seck).  Â
- Seck (3.67) and Price (3.50) Â are 1-2 in the Mountain West in offensive rebounds per game.
- It took Vance Walberg just one game into his Fresno State career to earn his first win as the Bulldogs' head coach, defeating Sacramento State 64-57 on Nov. 8. It was 216 days between his hiring and his first win.
- Walberg is one of four current Division I head coaches who was a high school head coach the season before taking over their current head coaching position (Penny Hardaway, Bucky McMillan, Stan Waterman).
- Walberg isn't the only coach on his staff putting an emphasis on community when it comes to this process. His staff has deep ties to the Central Valley. Three of his five assistant coaches grew up in the Valley while associate head coach John Welch was a part of Jerry Tarkanian's Bulldog staff from 1995-2002.
- Walberg entered the season with the sixth-most newcomers on a roster in Division I this year with 14 new faces, a roster he and his staff worked to put together during the first 100-plus days after his hiring.
- With just two players returning in Jalen Weaver and Pierre Geneste Jr., the Bulldogs rank in the Top 20 in the country in fewest returning minutes, points and rebounds.
