FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's basketball team returns home after almost 12 days since their last home game. Bulldogs return to the Save Mart Center to host the UC Merced Bobcats on Thursday, Dec. 5. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. PT streaming live on the Mountain West Network.Â

Mia Jacobs continues her stride of excellence this season. Through nine games, Jacobs totals 170 points, 98 rebounds, 24 steals, 23 assists in 292 minutes.
Over the weekend, Jacobs drew up a tough resume. The forward concluded the Rainbow Wahine Showdown with two double-doubles (at Hawaii 14 pts/18 reb) (vs UTM 31 pts/14 reb) and was named to the All-Tournament Team. Jacobs hit a career-high 18 rebounds and matched her career-high 31 points.Â
Grabbing her sixth double-double of the season, Jacobs (11) is four shy of tying Alex Sheedy (15) for the top ten spot of DD career leaders.Â

NON CONFERENCE OUTLOOKÂ
Fresno State has three more remaining games for the non conference portion of the season. The final non conference road trip will be a visit to No. 6 USC (6-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 6 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Women of Troy will be the second ranked opponent for the Bulldogs this season.Â
Final match ups will be at home in the Save Mart Center with CSUB (Dec. 14) and NAU (Dec. 17). Conference play begins Dec. 29 at UNLV.Â

ABOUT THE MATCH UPÂ
Fresno State will meet UC Merced for the fifth time in program history. Bulldogs lead the all-time meetings 4-0, with all meetings being held in Fresno.Â
Last time out, Fresno State held a dominant 53 point win over the Bobcats. 'Dogs have defeated the Bobcats by at least 50 in the last three meetings.

Fresno State ranks second in the MW and 41st nationally in 3PFGM.Â
These four 'Dogs are always able to connect from deep, Mariah Elohim, Saga Ukkonen, Mia Jacobs and Kylee Fox. The four all have over 10 3FGM through nine games. Elohim leads the quartet with 20, Ukkonen trails with 16 and Jacobs & Fox each hold 14.Â
The group is a large part in the team being able to score 6 or more 3PFG in all but one game this season. In the team's highest 3PFG made in a single game (14, vs CSUN), Elohim logged five 3-pointers, Ukkonen grabbed two, Jacobs and Fox tabbed one each.
