FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's golf team will host the Fresno State Classic at the 6,276-yard, Par 72 Copper River Country Club, March 25-26.
THE FIELD
The 21-team field will include Fresno State, Arkansas State, Sacramento State, Santa Clara, Washington State, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Utah Valley, Cal Baptist, UAB, Colorado State, Pepperdine, GCU, Nevada, Fullerton, Hawaii, Cal Poly, Rutgers, UC Davis, NAU and BYU.
Gonzaga also has three players competing as individuals in the field.

Monday, March 25 – 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun – 36 holes
Tuesday, March 26 – 8:30 a.m. PT shotgun – 18 holes

LAST TIME OUT
The Fresno State women's golf team finished fourth at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational hosted by Hawai'i, carding a 1-under 863.Â
The Bulldogs posted their best round of the invitational on Tuesday, shooting a 3-under 285.Â
Katelyn Lehigh stayed under par in all three rounds, finishing in ninth place at 4-under 212. She carded a 1-under 71 in the final round.Â
HIGHLIGHT OF THE FALL
At the first tournament of the season, Fresno State recorded a new program low two-round total of 15-under par 561 at the Timpanogos Collegiate Classic in Provo.
The Bulldogs tied the program record for the lowest score in a 54-hole tournament with a 12-under par 852.
Sophomore Katelyn Lehigh captured the 19th medalist honor in program history, winning the Timpangos Collegiate Invitational. Lehigh set a new program record for the lowest three-round total, carding an overall score of 15-under par 201.
Transfer Jinyu Wu recorded a seventh-place finish in her first tournament as a Bulldog, scoring a 73 on day three for a 7-under 209 total. Wu's score tied the program's fifth-lowest three-round total.
NEW KIDS ON THE COURSE
Fresno State only returned two players from last season, adding five newcomers.Â
The Bulldogs added two transfers to the roster in Jinyu Wu (Washington State) and Meredith McDougal (Westmont College). Along with three freshmen in Amelia Garibaldi, Sophia Yi-Ju Chen and Vunnisa Vu.
