Manganello in first after day one in Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. – The Fresno State men's golf team is tied for eighth place at the Duck Invitational after carding a 16-over 584 through two rounds at the Eugene Country Club.

Matthew Manganello leads the field with a score of 5-under 137. Manganello shot 3-under in the first round, recording three birdies, before scoring 2-under in round two.

Matthew Sutherland and Mason Benbrook were 6-over on the day, followed by Joseph Lloyd at 10-over. Ryan Firpo rounds out the lineup at 13-over.

The Bulldogs will closeout the invitational tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. PT. Fresno State will be paired with LMU, Oregon State and Boise State for the final round.
