Bulldogs finish Cal Invite, Bedolla takes sixth overall

BERKELEY, Calif. - Fresno State swim and dive team completed the three-day invite at the Legend Aquatics Center hosted by Cal.
Junior Natalia Bedolla qualified into finals for all three diving disciplines over the course of the weekend. Bedolla finished 6th overall in the women's high point with 17 points.Â
How it happened
In her first collegiate invite of the season, Natalia Bedolla made an impact qualifying into finals in all three diving events. Bedolla started the weekend with the 3-meter springboard finishing inside the top-12 in eighth place moving into finals. Grace Ally finished just shy of the qualifiers spot in 18th with a score of 236.65. Parker Connor and Averee Estep finished 31st and 33rd, respectively. In finals Bedolla finished 11th with a score of 245.70.Â
Bedolla's highest finish of the invite was in the 1-meter springboard. The junior from Guadalajara finished in 7th with a score 264.65 after just sliding into 11th place in the preliminaries. It was another eighth place finish for Bedolla in the platform event in both the prelim and finals session. Â
