'Dogs achieve team-best finish at Bronco Invite

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State cross country team wrapped up the regular season with its best performance yet at the Bronco Invitational at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale, California.
The women's team placed sixth with a total of 153 points in the 6k invitational, marking this their best race in the 10 years that the Bulldogs have entered the race.
The men's team placed eighth in the 8k invitational, with six athletes earning personal bests on the course.
WOMEN'S 6K INVITE
Runners Diana Cortes, Samantha Ebell, Hannah Garrity, Morgan Hutchison, Khushleen Khakh, Emilia Lev, Nayla Martin, Leah Mendibles, Hannah Pacheco, Chiara Pedol, Janae Penner, Ashley Villafana, Rhiannon Walker, and Kylie Ward all entered in the women's 6k invite today and overall placed sixth.
Fresno State averaged 21:35.10 with Pacheco, Villafana, Lev, Garrity and Martin all hitting personal bests.
MEN'S 8K INVITE
All 10 men on the Fresno State roster competed in the 8k invite: Jacob Diaz, Gavin English, RJ Estrada, Noah Graffigna, Marcus Jauregui, Guillermo Lopez, Enrique Loredo, Emilio Nunez, Jaden Tungate and Elijah Williams.
The Bulldogs totaled a score of 260 and placed eighth, demonstrating significant growth from their 17th-place finish the previous year.
Over half of the men's runners earned personal bests on the course today in Williams, Tungate, Loredo, Graffigna, Nunez and English.

The Bulldogs will host the Mountain West Cross Country Championship on October 31st at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif.
