Garibaldi named MW Golfer of the Month

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State junior Amelia Garibaldi was named Mountain West Golfer of the Month, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In Fresno State's lone tournament in October, Garibaldi won the first collegiate tournament of her career at the Clash at Boulder Creek, recording a career-low score of 11-under 205.
Garibaldi posted a score of 1-under 71 in the first round, shot 4-under 68 in round two, and finished with a career-low round of 6-under 66 in the final round.
During her career-low round, Garibaldi recorded seven birdies, including six consecutive birdies from hole 13 through hole 18. The junior helped Fresno State finish tied for seventh in the tournament while securing her second straight top-ten finish to close the fall season.
This is Garibaldi's first time earning MW Golfer of the Month honors and first time receiving MW honors since 2023 when she was named Mountain West Co-Freshman of the week in April.
