Bulldogs named CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is pleased to announce the selection of 781 teams from 459 institutions for the Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester. These teams, comprising 19,209 student-athletes, were recognized for their outstanding academic achievements.
To earn this prestigious recognition, teams were required to achieve a grade point average (GPA) above 3.0 during the Fall 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 654 recorded a GPA of 3.30 or higher, qualifying them for the Intercollegiate Coach Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.
Fresno State women's swimming and diving finished the fall semester with a 3.65 GPA, the highest team grade point average. The team also sported 12 athletes that earned a 4.0 GPA; Samantha Arredondo, Riley Baldwin, Brooke Beauvais, Ryley Clark, Parker Connor, Sera Hanagan, Sara Lucchini, Franzika Djatej, Jenna Pulkkinen, Samarah Melia, Korrie Tengan and Cheyanne Summers. In addition every swimmer and diver held a GPA of 3.0 or better and 20 swimmers with a 3.5 grade average.Â
In addition to the team achievements, nineteen conferences demonstrated their commitment to academic excellence by placing 100% of their active men's or women's teams on the Scholar All-America Team list.
