Lopicic clinches another win for Bulldogs in Northridge

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis continues their stay in the win column after defeating North Texas , 4-3, in a neutral site meeting on Monday afternoon.

How it happened
Fresno State once again missed out on the doubles point dropping the doubles matches on courts two and three. Eliza Dunbar and Paulina Montiel dropped first, three games to six against Pielit/Adati. Matilde Magrini and Charlotte Gisclon fell five games to seven.

Bulldogs' swept the first three singles matches. Magrini, Dunbar and Sofia Pizzoni collected wins for a 3-1 lead. Pizzoni battled in a three set match taking the final two sets (6-1, 6-4). North Texas took the next match, knotting it up, 3-3.
Andjela Lopicic was the final match on court four. Lopicic also played a three set battle, taking sets two (6-2) and three (7-6).

Up next: Fresno State will see the end of their seven stretch road match as they open conference play at Boise State (Mar. 14) and at Utah State (Mar. 16).
