FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State softball team will host New Mexico for its final home series of the season, before heading North to face UC Davis.
The Bulldogs will celebrate their six seniors on Saturday, April 19, the ceremony will start at approximately 2:40 p.m. PT.

LAST WEEK
Fresno State secured a series win over Utah State, taking two out of three games. The Bulldogs opened with a 7-3 victory in game one before dropping game two, 9-5. They bounced back in the rubber match, earning a 7-4 win to clinch the series.
Following the weekend, the Bulldogs traveled south for a Monday matchup at BYU, where they fell to the Cougars, 7-4.
CLUTCH IN CONFERENCE
Three Bulldogs have found their groove at the plate during conference play.
Natalie Elias leads with a .417 batting average and 20 hits. Kennedy Bunker follows closely, hitting .415 with 17 hits and 9 RBIs. Taryn Irigoyen holds a .319 average, recording 15 hits and 7 RBIs.
RACKING UP WINS
Since being named head coach, Stacy May-Johnson has steadily improved her team's performance each year.
In 2022, her first season, the Bulldogs finished with a 19-36 record (10-14 MW). The team showed growth in 2023, posting a 23-31 record (10-12). The momentum continued in 2024, with a significant leap to a 33-19 record (13-9 MW).
