CRESWELL, Ore. – The Fresno State men's golf team is in eighth place at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Men's Golf Championship after two rounds, held at the par-72, 7,041-yard Emerald Valley Golf Club.
San Diego State leads the field after two rounds at 44-under par. Following in the standings are San Jose State at -22, UNLV and Colorado State both at -18. In the middle of the pack are New Mexico (-13), Utah State (-11), Nevada (-11), and Fresno State (-9). Boise State is at -5, while Wyoming (+6) and Air Force (+14) round out the bottom of the leaderboard.
Joseph Lloyd dropped to eighth place on the leaderboard after shooting a 1-under 71 in the second round. He now sits at a total score of 7-under par.
Ryan Firpo and James Watney are tied for 19th place at 3-under par. Watney posted his best round of the tournament today, shooting a 3-under 69.
Jaden Hunter sits at 4-over, while Chris Bettencourt is at 6-over.
