Bulldogs finish day one in Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. - The Fresno State men's golf team finished day one of the N.I.T. in eleventh place, posting a score of 3-over 385 following the completion of one full round at Omni Tucson National Resort. The second round was not completed after it was suspended due to darkness.
Zack Tarter concluded his day tied for 25th, shooting 1-under in round one while currently carding a 1-under in round two with six holes to play. The sophomore totaled seven birdies on the day.
Jaden Hunter wrapped up day one tied for 35th, posting an even-par in round one, and Von Wasson ended his day tied for 49th after shooting 2-over 74 in the opening round.
Freshman Nash Arthurs finished his day at 3-over with six holes to finish in round two, and Jake Bettencourt sits at 5-over with five holes remaining in the second round.
The second round play is scheduled to resume at 7:30 a.m. PT, followed by the final round of the tournament upon its completion.
