CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. - The Fresno State softball team concluded the Mary Nutter Classic on Saturday, dropping their final game of the tournament to No 11 UCLA by a final of 11-0 at Big League Dreams Complex.Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bruins opened with a four-run first inning. An infield fly paired with a fielding error resulted in UCLA's first run before a three-run homer increased their lead to 4-0.Â
Two more runs were scored by the Bruins in the following inning after a sacrifice fly and a solo home run to center made it a 6-0 ballgame.Â
UCLA padded their lead with another five runs in the bottom of the fourth, as Fresno State was run-ruled in five innings by No.11 UCLA, 11-0.Â

- Fresno State drops to 4-7 on the season
- Fresno State goes 1-3 at the Mary Nutter Classic
