'Dogs finish day two in San Jacinto

SAN JACINTO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's golf team finished day two of the Soboba Classic, sitting tied for first place after posting a score of 9-over 297 in the second round at Soboba Springs Golf Course on Thursday.
Amelia Garibaldi was the low Bulldog in round two, shooting 4-under 68 with five birdies, as the junior climbed six spots into second place with the final round remaining.Â
Senior Katelyn Lehigh moved up seven spots to join Garibaldi inside the top 5, finishing the second round in third after carding a 2-under 70 with five birdies of her own. Lehigh ended the round with three straight birdies.Â
Lara Goerlich ended her day at 5-over, Vunnisa Vu at 10-over, and Hyojeong Kang shot 13-over.Â
Competing as an individual, Sara Rampoldi wrapped up her day at 3-over, finishing tied for 21th.
