Heidbreder and Gory earn All-MW Honors

LAS VEGAS – Fresno State Men's Basketball's Jake Heidbreder and DeShawn Gory earned All-Mountain West honors following the conclusion of the 2025-26 regular season, the conference announced on Tuesday.
Heidbreder was named All-Mountain West Third Team, while Gory earned All-MW Honorable mention.
The league's 12 head coaches and selected media members voted on the All-Conference teams, as well as the coach, player, defensive player, newcomer, sixth man and freshman honors.
In his first season with Fresno State, Heidbreder recorded 280 points in conference games with an average of 15.6 per game. He scored 20+ points in five MW games with the Bulldogs.
Heidbreder also recorded 47 total rebounds, 12 offensive and 35 defensive. He was near perfect at the free-throw line, going 81-for-88 at the charity stripe. On January 16, he set a program record for made free throws in a single game at the Save Mart Center with 16.
True freshman Gory led the Bulldogs in scoring in conference games this season, recording 314 points and averaging 15.7 points per game. He led the team in defensive rebounds with 131 this season, and collected 152 total rebounds, averaging 7.6 per game.
Gory had six double-doubles in conference games this season and scored a career-high 31 points at New Mexico on January 21.
