SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – Fresno State dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 37 Princeton on Tuesday afternoon at a neutral site in San Luis Obispo.
How it happened
Princeton claimed the doubles point to open the match, winning on courts two and three. The Bulldog pair of Eliza Dunbar and Klara Vukicevic were locked in a tight battle at No. 1 doubles before the match went unfinished. In singles play, the Tigers secured victories on courts two, three and four to clinch the team result.At No. 2 singles, Andjela Lopicic fell 6-3, 6-2 to Bella Chhiv. Eva Elbaz topped Eliza Dunbar 6-2, 6-0 on court three, and Madeline Jessup earned a 6-2, 6-3 win over Klara Vukicevic at No. 4.Three singles matches went unfinished. Sofia Pizzoni led No. 90 Alice Ferlito 7-5, 2-3 at the top spot when play was halted. Louna Cormier was in the third set against Pearlie Zhang at No. 5, while Gianna Mastro was also extended to a third set on court six.
