FRESNO, Calif. - Select Fresno State swimmers will head to Ocala to compete in the National Invitational Championship beginning on Thursday, Mar. 12 through Saturday, Mar. 14. Prelims are set to begin at 9:30 a.m. ET/ 6:30 a.m. PT with finals to follow at 6:00 p.m. ET/ 3:00 p.m. PT.Â
'Dogs take FLÂ
Fresno State will be represented by Sienna Cheng Lucey, Jenna Pulkkinen, Laura Kalmar, Hayley Oke, Ryley Clark, Franzi Djatej and Clare Luken.Â
All seven Bulldogs had an impressive showing at the 2026 Mountain West Championships to earn themselves qualifying times to NIC. Cheng Lucey, Pulkkinen, Clark and Djatej earned All-MW honors for qualifying into a championship 'A' final in February.Â
NICÂ
The National Invitational Championship is an NCAA approved an exemption for the NIC meet and practices leading up to it. The NIC provides a post season championship event for Division I swimmers and divers that have achieved the qualifying standards listed below, but are not selected for the NCAA Division I Championships.Â
