MW Pitcher of the Week
Fresno State's Lauryn Carranco was tabbed as the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. This is Carranco's first MW Pitcher of the Week accolade.
Carranco had a standout weekend at the Libby Matson tournament in Stockton where she went 2-0 on the weekend defeating UC San Diego and Pacific. The right-handed pitcher threw her first career no-hitter against UCSD in the opening game of the tournament. The senior tied her career-high 12 strikeouts in the no-hitter against the Tritons. On her second start of the tournament, threw a complete shutout against Pacific.
In 14 innings pitched, Carranco allowed just three hits while striking out 16 batters in her two starts at the Libby Mattson Tournament. Carranco tied for second in the nation in shutouts (1st MW) with four games and tied for ninth (1st MW) in completed games with six.

Lauryn Carranco threw her first career no-hitter of her collegiate career, with seven hitless innings, allowing only three walks and striking out 12 batters against UC San Diego in the tournament opening game

On the first day of the tournament four Bulldogs hit home runs in Alyssa Ramirez, Jamie Hicks, Jayda Crosby and Emma Martinez

Fresno State is currently riding on a four game win streak after a clean sweep at the Libby Matson tournament. This is the 'Dogs longest win streak of the season.
