Bulldogs sign Spanish point guard Roger Fabrega Urpina

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Men's Basketball Head Coach Vance Walberg has announced the signing of Roger Fabrega Urpina, a guard from Spain, to join the roster in 2026-27.
The 6-foot-1 guard most recently competed for Amics Castello in the Segunda FEB league. He led the league in assists with 6.1 per game. In addition, he averaged 8.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals.
Urpina shot 40 percent from the field, 29 percent from three-point range and 65 percent from the free-throw line in his most recent season. He becomes the second point guard on the Bulldogs' 2026-27 roster, joining BYU transfer KJ Perry.
