Diamond 'Dogs Earn ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Baseball has been recognized for its success in the classroom, earning the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack.
The award recognizes high school and collegiate baseball programs that achieved a cumulative team grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale during the 2025-26 academic year. More than 800 programs across the country were honored this year, including nearly 500 collegiate programs.
To qualify for the award, programs were required to have a head coach who is a current ABCA member and post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 during the academic year.
The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award is one of several honors presented annually by the American Baseball Coaches Association, which has recognized the achievements of baseball coaches and student-athletes for decades.
