Cameron Lee hired as Assistant Athletics Director for Finance & Business Operations

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy announced on Monday the hiring of Cameron Lee as the department's Assistant Athletic Director for Finance & Business Operations.
Lee brings more than a decade of experience in accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and operational leadership to Fresno State Athletics. Throughout his career, he has built financial systems, strengthened internal controls, and provided strategic financial oversight that supports organizational growth and operational excellence.
Lee most recently served as Assistant Controller at JC Resorts, where he oversaw financial operations for multiple business locations, including budgeting, financial reporting, expense management, vendor relations, and staff supervision. He partnered with executive leadership to provide financial analysis, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen organizational accountability.
Prior to joining JC Resorts, Lee spent more than eight years as Senior Accountant with Funf Ventures, managing financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow oversight, and accounting operations for multiple development entities and construction projects. His experience includes implementing financial procedures, monitoring organizational budgets, and supporting long-term strategic planning.
In addition to his financial leadership experience, Lee has served as a high school basketball coach since 2022. His coaching responsibilities have included program budgeting, fundraising initiatives, team operations, and mentoring student-athletes, providing him with valuable insight into the operational needs of athletic programs.
Lee has earned a Masters of Business Administration as well as a bachelor's degree in accounting. His expertise includes financial reporting and analysis, budget management, operational planning, compliance, revenue forecasting, and strategic financial leadership.
